"Letter to Niike"
Written to Niike Saemon-no-jo in February 1280
It may seem harsh to the ear, or shallow and dogmatic. However, the 755 year history of this Buddhism is unlike that of any other teaching. The modern movement of the Soka Gakkai into 192 countries and territories in the past 50 years is UNPRECENDENTED!
Please, study the works of Daisku Ikeda, Jose Toda, and Tsunesaburu Makiguchi. Locate an SGI center in your locale. Humanity is at the tipping point. The bright and vibrant future for the world can be realized with hope, courage and confidence. "The lion is being a lion best when it roars." Chant "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo" for 100 days and SEE the amazing results in your life!!

Thank you my friend for bringing this to my attention. I am going to try this chant, for my spirit can use all the positive I can bring to it. I am also going to look up an SGI center right now and see what that is. Then maybe (just maybe) I may find the courage to actually check it out.
